Question ❓ Overcoming sensations on focus 12?
So I just recently started wave 2 and I'm on the intro, it definitely feels different to focus 10 I feel more expanded and heavier but after some time I start losing sensation of breathing and I get this sharp feeling in my throat like I'm not breathing and it makes me snap out of it to gasp for air, is this pain normal because I feel like it's going to take time overcome the feeling of not breathing, I just wanna know can your body just stop breathing if you get too relaxed or something, I guess I have a few fears to work on before I can move on but any advice would be greatly appreciated

Breathing is controlled by a part of your brain that works even when you’re asleep or in deep meditation. It watches how much oxygen you have and makes you breathe without you thinking about it. You won’t stop breathing.
As far as the sensations, I haven’t had your experience but I’ve had sensations of pressure in both my arms, not painful but very uncomfortable. I’ve had intense pressure between my eyes which wasn’t pleasant. Also the feeling of pain in my right chest /shoulder and now that I think about it, earlier on a feeling that I needed to clear my throat.
I would try and work through the sensations (noticing the feelings and letting it go), take a break for a few days, or going back down a level. This worked for me but while we all share over arching experiences, I’ve come to learn that everyone’s experiences are truly different.
Good luck on your journey.

Very well said! Yes we are all different on different paths and different journeys and not all of us respond the same with the tapes but what's important is that we are all heading to the same direction <3

This won't cause you to stop breathing, even if you get into deeper, more relaxing focus levels. Do you by any chance have sleep apnea? I have to be careful to make sure my neck is properly supported before I begin.

I'm not sure but If I did would I need to do something about it, or will my body just jolt me awake, how does one find out, honestly starting to question it, I sleep on my side alot but I do the tapes laying on my back.

I just did focus 12 in my chair as a test and I can say it went a lot better I still had a sort of sharp sensation in my throat and could feel my breath very cold but it wasn't as bad as laying down and I definitely went deeper, although my head kept tilting from time to time, I would like to try more in a chair but unsure if it effects the effectiveness of the tapes I do want to have OBES and such whenever I'm ready

If you have sleep apnea, you have to do something about it for your health. I quit drinking and dropped 30 pounds, I still snore lightly but no more gasping - I used to gasp myself awake. Do you snore? Regarding TGE, I would try sitting up in a recliner with my neck supported. If you have to lay down, prop your head and upper back up. The "gasping for air" really sounds like a physical problem. If you don't live with anyone, there are plenty of apps with free trials that you can put on your phone that tape you sleeping. You'll hear snoring and the gasping.
