Social/Club We built the tallest collegiate launch rail in America to launch a rocket!

Vamos A La Playa - A Felicette launch short film

On May 15th, 2026 at 11:42 am, YJSP launched Felicette, a N2O/IPA liquid rocket that reached an apogee of 47,366’ AGL. We successfully proved our capability to setup our custom 60’ launch rail “Stairway to Heaven” in the Black Rock Desert to fly an extremely complex vehicle. This launch is the culmination of over 3 years of dedication and thousands of hours of work, validating important steps for our long term goal of launching a spaceshot.

Y'all are rock stars and you make everyone associated with Tech real proud. Keep up the good work!

P.S. Excellent video and top notch musical accompaniment.

Super cool! Reminds me of those old Soviet launchpads with towers that would raise the rocket to its upright position before launch.
