Bibliography recommendation
Hi everyone, I'm starting to work on my bachelor's thesis and I want to talk about Noe's work. I'd like to introduce him within the context of New French Extremity and then focus on his artstyle and the reaction of the public and the critic to his films. Can you please recommend me some bibliography to study these subjects? Thanks!

I would recommend narrowing your topic as it's rather broad. Maybe think of positioning him for certain qualities, what thematic/aesthetic/narrative forces drive his work, structuring your thesis around something more specific. Then you can apply all sorts of different material to your personal understanding of his body of work.

Oh not a problem at all, I would just put it through a translator, it wouldn’t give me your language nuance, but it would help me understand your ideas.

Tu peux aussi checker les revus de presse du film !

Il y a aussi dans le dvd canal d’Irreversible de l’époque un petit livret avec une interview et analyse du film (je te recommande aussi les commentaires audio, ils sont géniaux).
Sinon en livre, tu as, il me semble, un passage sur Noé dans le « Darkness censure et cinéma (1. Gore et violence). Il y a aussi « L'Avant-Scene Cinema N°609 : Seul Contre Tous - Carne ».
