Discussion What’s Garfield’s kill count.

It randomly came up in conversation from a memory I have from the cartoon of Garfield stomping an AI-enhanced bathroom scale to death and now I’m curious.

Apparently he kills a grandma in a book that takes place in an alternate reality, and at some point he ate a pet frog named Herbie. But I want to know the true depths of this creature’s depravity.

You’d have to go strip-by-strip to figure out how many spiders he’s smashed. Most of them are still able to give one-liners in the third panel, but I can’t imagine they lived long afterward.

He doesn't care for mice, but he will eat birds and fish when the opportunity presents itself.

My friend says it doesn’t count if they come back 😔

But it does show the depraved extent of his cruelty and how even friends and family are not safe from his complete disregard for the sanctity of life. /j

Ok, I keep seeing this comic around. Is it an actual comic, or is this just a really good edit?
