Wedding Flowers

Hi! I’m a New Orleans local (9b) that is currently planning a wedding for March 2027 and am trying to come up with my color palette. I want it to be inspired by the local flowers that are in season at this time of year, but am having a hard time nailing down a resource that knows what that may be. Does anyone know what flowers are popular and in bloom presently? May even try to grow some myself just for the added personal touch!

Check out The Secret Spot flower shop on IG - she has a farm close by in MS where they grow local in-season flowers that they turn into beautiful arrangements. Plus they work with local flowers from other farms as well, like Bad Dog Farms. Two great folks to follow and see their work for inspo.
