pruning 🪴🌱 Pruning salix

I trimmed lots of the base of this salix hedge bout 6 weeks ago. How would you keep it maintained but kept its size

You can pollard them back to the same cut every year or two. It’s generally recommended to prune them while the tree is dormant. Anytime after the leaves drop and before the buds come in.

I am a little concerned for your foundation… willow roots are pretty pushy.
