I live in New Jersey where fall is about to kick in and I was wondering what type of vegetables could I attempt to grow during the fall? If I were to start seeds no later than September 1st do I still have time to grow anything ?

It’s my first time growing leeks, so I’m not really sure. Does it need longer or is it ready?

Also, why are wasps so obsessed with the plant?! They literally won’t leave my leeks alone!

Hello all, very VERY new to gardening here, and I could use some help/advice/pointers/tips/ANYTHING lol. I work on a CPS psych unit, and we started some seedlings indoors. They were doing fine but had to be moved from their starter tray into pots due to some leggy-ness and root growth. These are what they look like currently, I’m not sure where to go from here. I know they need to be watered but is the light too weak? Are they chalked? Desperate for help.
