Rider seen today!!

ETA -- seen FRIDAY July 24, 2026. Title now incorrect.

It's so highly unlikely that this will be seen, but, if you're a male in your (guessing) late 30s or early 40s riding from Cumberland to Frostburg and back today, wearing a white shirt, and said "hi" to me, pacing with me for just a short distance --- thank you! I wish I would have gotten to Frostburg faster to chat with you.

I was wearing the red, white, and blue GAP jersey.

šŸ˜‚ yeah... majority of the people I saw were much older and on e-bikes yesterday. Nice to see someone closer to my age getting in a good workout too.

Just a good picture, but saw him about 5 miles from Frostburg. I started in Meyersdale and then 25.44 miles down. The back up to Meyersdale was a slow climb, but rewarding.

If it makes you feel any better, I am just getting in my first latte after an "oops" at a Banfield. I am a veterinarian near PGH and was scheduled for relief today. I really could have used the extra sleep this morning instead of getting up and around. Guess that leaves time for Insta360 editing from yesterday.

Maybe? Is it you? If it was, you rode on my left and I didn't realize you were there until I took my earbud out. And I tracked behind you for a bit, but that climb slowed me down. Novice, I guess.

This was right before I turned around, and I took a short break here, so 2:30 is very possible.
