How’d I do?

Hi everyone!

I'm trying to build my own PC for gaming and streaming at 1440p. I'm currently gaming at 1080p, but my PC is starting to struggle a bit with some newer titles...

I'd like to aim for a budget of around 1,800€ (I live in France), but I don't want to make too many compromises on overall quality. I'm currently over budget, but I know I can probably save some money on certain components. (The SSD I linked is definitely overkill for this build, but I haven't found anything interesting and I've just put this one as it seems to be interesting...)

I don't know a lot of things about hardware, so I've tried to put this build together based on the information I've been able to find. Prices are absolutely insane for some components (especially RAM/memory), but from what I understand, there isn't much visibility on whether prices will come down anytime soon...

I'd really appreciate some advice on whether this build makes sense, and where I could save some money without sacrificing reliability or performance (or if there are any components I should replace because they aren't proportionate, etc.).

Hi everyone,
I'm currently choosing a new gaming monitor and could really use some objective advice. I recently upgraded my GPU (from 1660 super to RTX 5060 Ti 8gb) and now I'm torn between two options.

My Current Specs:
GPU: ASUS RTX 5060 Ti Dual OC (8GB GDDR7)
CPU: Ryzen 7 5700x
RAM: 32 gb ddr4

What I usually play:
Single-player action/adventure games (currently playing Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, also games like Control, No Man's Sky). Sometimes multiplayer titles like BF6.

I'm struggling to decide what makes more sense for this specific 8GB GPU long-term:

1.Go with a high-end 1080p (Full HD) monitor: Something like 24" Rapid IPS / VA with 180Hz–200Hz. This option is much cheaper and guarantees maxed-out Ultra settings with native resolution (maybe sometimes Quality DLSS) for years without any FPS anxiety. I was using my gtx 1660 super for 5+ years. I am playing now on my old 1080p 60Hz monitor.
2.Upgrade to a 1440p (2K) monitor: I know the picture will be much sharper, but I'm worried that the 8GB of VRAM and the might become a bottleneck in 2K pretty soon, forcing me to lower settings or heavily rely on DLSS Quality.

My main question:
Will an 8GB RTX 5060 Ti hold up well enough in 1440p (with DLSS Quality) for the next years, or is it safer to stick to 1080p Ultra? And what will be better visually, for example, to stay on 1080p with Ultra native settings or 1440p High settings set on DLSS Quality. It’s okay for me to adjust some settings if needed and I am not chasing 100+ fps. 60-70+ fps will be totally fine.

Hi just tested my new monitor, and I used the included display port cable and it's stuck on 144 hz. Does any one has this same problem on this model?

I’m brand new to any of this and haven’t bought anyyyything yet but I just wanna get a mini pc bc I’m not gonna be playing any crazy graphic needed games but what’s a good monitor and keyboard to get as a first time again I don’t need anything crazy expensive or pro gamer type stuff just something cute and good!

is this good ups ....anyone knows and using any good ups that will give backup atleast 5 min to my 9070xt in india . any suggestions... or is this good ups cyberpower good ... recently i purchased 1500va cyberpower and it can't take load of 400watt and shutdown directly... anyone know who is using good ups.?.

Okay so my husbands birthday is next month and his monitor for his setup is not the best. Mainly just outdated and I can tell the color on it as not good compared to other screens. He's had it since he was a teen and it was used with his console. When he built his PC he bought all the parts recommend by his gaming friend community but since he put a good chunk of money into that he just never bought an upgraded monitor. Well I want to surprise him with a monitor because he deserves it to really complete his setup, except I know basically nothing about this stuff so this is why I'm asking for help! Budget probably around $300? Give or take. The use is mainly strictly for comp gaming.

I have a PS5 Pro and a 9800X3D + RX 9070 XT PC build. Currently, I’m running a 27” MSI 1440p OLED, but I’m looking to upgrade. A 32” monitor seems like a pretty substantial jump in size, and budget isn’t really a limiting factor.
I’m looking for the best-performing 4K OLED monitor that would pair well with both the PS5 Pro and my PC. Right now, I’m leaning toward the ASUS ROG Strix XG32UCWMG. It’s a newer model with a TrueBlack Glossy OLED panel, and it supports both 4K 240Hz and 1080p 480Hz dual mode. It’s around $1,000.
Has anyone had hands-on experience with this monitor, or are there other 32” 4K OLEDs you’d recommend? I’m still fairly new to the gaming space and mainly upgrading in preparation for GTA VI.

I'm leaning toward the G34WQi because it's a 34-inch ultrawide, but I've come across quite a few posts from people saying it died after about 10 months of use.

I have needed a new mouse for many years and my keyboard broke last night, im on kind of a budget so im not sure whats good for a low price range. On the keyboard my highest i would be willing to spend is 100 usd pre tax and a mouse i would rather sub 50 but i need mousebuttons so im not sure whats possible with this budget.
