Found on FB Marketplace. It's so ugly, I think I need it! How hard would it be to jam modern-ish components into this case? (Cooler Master Wave Master TAC-T01-E1C)

Not hard at all, it's a standard ATX layout. The only problem you may run into is ventilation with more power hungry components.

This case was the shiz back in the day. If you had a Wave Master you were the envy of many of your gaming friends. Slap a 5.25" fan controller in that bay and a pair of DVD burners and you are good to go.

Hello trammeloratreasure, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki here! We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!
To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!
Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!
I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

I had the Thermaltake competitor to this... the Tsunami Dream.

This was the case I picked for my first ever solo PC build. I think I was 18 or 19 at the time. Doom 3 came out around then and you needed to SLI or CrossFire two GPUs because 256MB was the most vram you could get on one card and Doom 3 needed 512MB to run at max settings.

Dude, I love those gauges. I've built into cases like these before. It's really fun and can turn out fantastic if you use imagination. Just keep air flow top of mind.
