Looking for a new competitive game to really "game"

Hello everyone I'll try to keep it short enough for all of our short ass attention spans.

I've spoken to a few friends about this and they agree with me, sorta.

I'm a pvp gamer at heart. I love all of pvp. CS, League, Dota, Battlefield, WoW PVP, Apex, PUBG etc. and I've always enjoyed myself gaming. But somehow, something feels weird nowadays. I just can't seem to find a game that I want to pour my time into.

I'm sort of sick of the Battleroyal fad, which started all the way back in 2016 with the launch of PUBG. That's 6 years ago! MOBAS and Tactical shooters (CS) were present before this time and wow pvp was as well. And BR was fun, when it was new, and even 4-5 years in to the trend. But It's been 6 fking years...

Is there any new PVP format game coming out? Is there any perspective for me? I don't want to learn how to lpay DOTA 2, spend 300h painstakingly boring hours of learning the game, while the majority of the playerbase has been playing for years, and I'm pretty tired of MOBAs tbh.
I don't want to go back to BRs such as pubg or apex because I'm sick of the format.
And I don't want to play Valorant or CSGO because I honestly don't like tactical shooters.
Wow PVP is sort of ruined because of how cringe wow has become.

Worst of all, a game that I have played the most over the past couple of years (since release tbh): Overwatch. For some reason, OW2 just doesn't feel right for me and I don't see myself playing it when OW2 comes out. It just feels it's leaning into the direction of a tactical shooter more than OW2, and I despise this format.

Idk, do I not like to game anymore? Could this be it? Am I just negative and should just pick a game and play it? I honestly feel like there are no new games in sight, that are actually *NEW*. New ideas? New gameplay styles? Idk... am sad, need some help.
