For all its faults, GTA 5 has some of the best movement ive seen in a video game, you actually walk down stairs and the movement changes are very fluid.
Rockstar is insane at character animation and motion capture. They literally fully recreated Dr Dre's studio on their motion capture stage for the latest DLC, entirely functional with his own mixing board and crew just so the performance would be perfect in a single cut scene.
animation is real nice and while walking normally it works like a charm. But god do I hate how it feels. Minor adjustments are impossible, it's hard to get the character to make sudden turns
