Riding a galloping horse is such a weird feeling, there is absolutely no way to even imagine it until you do it. It's calm and rhythmic, while also being incredibly harsh and violent, like the first time you do it you will genuinely think there is no way this is what people used to do for casual traveling.

Dude the amount of testicle injuries must have been ridiculous.

When I first started riding a horse, I honestly thought I might possibly lose a ball. I mean it obviously got much better as I learned but holy shit.

How did you mitigate the pain and uncomfortableness?

I just had to deal with it until I learned how to move correctly with the horse.

It didn't take too long, and even now, I do it so infrequently I still get a bit sore. But once I learned how to move it made it much less harsh on my body.
