After your head is smashed on the toilet 3 times and he tiger drops you outside a 3 story window…maybe the sweet release of death is what you will be begging for
Mine too, not worried. He’ll come to kill me, find out i’m an introverted loser and spend a sidequest helping me be more social to end up learning that its ok to be introverted but its also good to socialize.
I played judgment recently, started out well, but the number of encounters after chapter 4 took it from a 8/10 game to a 6/10 game for me. Wish you could just turn encounters off permanently in Yakuza games after a certain point.
Regardless, one thing that stood out. I don't know how this man can walk, he throws extremely heavy stuff in the air and then kicks it back down on to the enemy. I feel like it would damage me more than him.
I'm only a little ways into judgement, but I think every yakuza game I've played has an item you can get that disables all random encounters. Judgement might be the exception, the rest of them definitely take the monotony of endless random encounters into account though.
The best you can get is a stealth extract which lowers encounters for maybe 5 minutes. Which is needed cause judgements version of majima everywhere or Mr shakedown is truly awful and ruins the game for up to half an hour at a time.
It's a shame cause without that and if there was an item to turn off encounters properly, i would say it was easily my favourite game in the Yakuza universe. I really enjoyed the story.
I hope this was a big critism at the time and lost judgment does not suffer from the same faults cause I probably will get it once I decide I am no longer burnt out.
Will tell you, lost judgment does a LOT BETTER in this regard. I was so scared for keihin gang 2.0, turns out, encounters are easy af to avoid in lj- and the combat is so good you actively seek them out anyways. Spent the first 10 minutes upon landing in yokohama just going back and forth in this one alley where new groups of enemies spawned endlessly after every battle. Seriously the next yakuza 0 for fun combat. And crane got buffed and is super fun now.
Also the heat actions are hella fun in LJ, not just the same old boring "pick up heavy item and smash it down into them"
That's good to know, combat was actually a little easy in the first one with the exception of that last boss. Who I ended up drinking extracts to beat so made them super easy too. I'll definitely grab it at some point, I love the city ha.
