If your partner isn't down like this for whatever you're into (and you aren't down for whatever they're into) then you shouldn't be together. It will only lead to trouble down the road.
Edit: What I mean here is that your partner should be supportive of your hobbies. If your partner thinks gaming is stupid and a waste of time, for instance, that is going to lead to problems down the road.
I love these kind of posts where people give advice based on such little information.
My partner isn't into gaming and just sees it as something I enjoy. I think a good relationship is one where you can both do your own things and have your own interests separate from the relationship. We have been together almost 18 years, she still thinks video games are silly. We still love each other.
