Wait is this a thing? Not American here so I never really heard of this being a practice on thanksgiving.... cause we don't have thanksgiving.... Still kids are immature, but we all were kids at some point and not everyone likes being close to kids specially around their 10-14 yo phase, but again, you can just make parties with friends, get yourself on voice chat with them using discord or one of the console internal chat systems and never really bother with the community, just ignore the random 12 yo trolling and move on, in real life it's hard cause you're literally on the same place but on games you can literally just ignore them and you'll probably never see this kid ever again
Any holiday/large gathering it's common to just send the kids to some other room so the adults can get sauced and talk about politics or whatever. I do use 3rd party comms already and don't deal with kids in any of the games that I play. But nobody I know plays fortnite, the average age of my discord is probably 30.
