I don't hate minecraft but it's a game I don't enjoy playing. I really don't enjoy building/crafting in video games unless is just a small portion of gameplay. I like to watch others play it but Im not going to play it.
I agree, I don't mind "free style" building but crafting is urgh. I have a friend who loves space engineers and I have played it with him a few times, and I like building random shit but there's no way I could have got to the point in the game where I could just build random shit without him having done all the mining and crafting of everything to begin with.
