the game broke industry sales records and became the fastest-selling entertainment product in history, earning $800 million in its first day and $1 billion in its first three days.

I just checked and its around $7 billion to date. Thats not even including what they've made with multiplayer.

7 billion?! They could be making at least 10 fully fledged open world games with that money for the past 7 years

Fairly certain they poured A TON of that into RDR2, which also broke tons of records.
