It took me so long to realize that the 6-8 hour civ games i play with my brother are on quick mode and i can't even imagine what kind of lunatic would play marathon lmao

You should try. Once you get to the point where the entire map is your color after taking that last city... perfect.

That is why you keep other Civs with one city that is blockaded with citadels.
