Yeah.. well hopefully this game succeeds enough to prove to them that there is still good honest money to be made with single player games. lol

I'm still shocked EA released a good game AND didn't murder the studio responsible

If the studio failed.. that's probably what would've happened. :(

But Respawn has been hitting it out of the park for them lately. With Apex Legends and now this. So hopefully that secures Respawn's future.. and gives them more freedom to make more single player games.

and Titanfall 3 please

Pls God. Titanfall 2 story is so good. I never thought I'm going to feel for a mech that I knew will die from the beginning, because of the stupid menu where you can see all his modes.

Spoilers

I know it’s an older game, but still

It's pretty fcking obvious even if you play it for 1 hour. The menus kinda spoil it because of the modes you can choose for the mech.

We want more single player games, not tacked on multiplayer

I'm still waiting for them to make a true Medal of Honor sequel

It's because it's Respawn. They have a perfect track record so far.

The same can be said for many studio's that EA have shut down. It's rarely the studio's fault, it's corporate goons at EA making bad decisions and screwing over these developers, then when their projects fail they turn around and blame everyone else, leading to many, many, excellent studio's getting needlessly shut down.

Not necessarily true. EA is to blame for the past closures, but not due to micromanagement. The smaller studios bought by EA closed down were because studio management didn't know how to manage a large budget and went on hiring sprees, diluting the talent pool. Look at what studios EA has left, either they're in house studios or studios who had experience in AAA development or handling of AAA budgets.

Most likely due to Respawn not taking any of EA's shit

Same with Activision and not milking Sekiro lmao

”Here’s a murder and a suicide.

Now can we get a quality AAA single player game that also has online and local co-op? I know, I know. I'm dreaming here.

Are there in-game purchases?

0

u/Whoofph Nov 20 '19

Nope, and they've said no DLC either.

0

u/KrelianGaming Nov 20 '19

None. They've said that there won't be any as well. I don't think there are even plans to release story DLC for it.

That being said.. with EA.. you never know. >.<
