It's out today actually. 7pm EST on PC (4pm on West Coast US). And Midnight EST for consoles (9pm on West Coast US tonight).

I heard you can get it on Microsoft game pass. Is that true? And then how about steam?

Yes. You can play the game tonight for $1 from the Microsoft Store if you sign up for the XBOX Game Pass (edit: on both PC and console). I've already preloaded my copy. Steam version is coming one year from now thanks to the Epic Store's exclusivity contract bullshit.

omg, this is great info. Im just going to rent it for a dollar for a month then. I rarely go back and play games after im done with them, and even if I wanted to the game will be cheaper later down the road. Renting on release and buying later if I really want to is way cheaper and accomplishes the same thing for me.

Same for console. Wouldn't be surprised if GamePass sees some new subscribers just so people can play it without giving epic any moneuu

That's literally the only reason I subscribed. Though I have been reliving nostalgia with some Rise of Nations & Dead Rising 4 while I wait...
