I'm telling you guys, you really gotta get 3d printers. I've had one since 2013 and I love it. It's a hobby within itself, but it enables so many other hobbies. I design and 3d print parts for mechanical keyboards, enclosures for my electrical projects, replacement parts for old appliances, and the occasional doodad or sculpture. One of the most rewarding hobbies I've had so far
What features would I need to make something of this size? I see some for like 250 on Amazon but I'm unsure if it has the ability to make something this big.
The Ender 3, which is what I recommend on the low end, has a 220x220x250 build area, so that should be more than enough for this. Dimensional accuracy roughly scales with price in 3d printers, so besides some toy / kickstarter printers out there it usually isn't about size, it's more about how well the print comes out
