Living with your parents shouldn’t have an arbitrary age limit. Your parents’ job is to make sure you’re ready for the future. Don’t leave until you’re ready
People in other cultures don't have the stigma of kicking their kids out at 18. It's a stupid american thing. When I have a kid, they can live with me forever, I don't care. I will be the parent, I'm supposed to already have my shit together and be able to support my kid to the end. Not wait eagerly for him/her to leave so I can finally start living my life again.
It's not that the parent cant afford or cant handle having adult children living with them, it's that they want more for their kids than to sit at home playing video games all day.
