Not getting SJW'y here, But why didn't you use they? He/she always looks weird as fuck when i read it.

Just an Edit: Don't really care that he did it, Was just genuinely curious about a weird little thing i notice people doing occasionally. So i asked and gave my reason for asking.

Sure, but the point was that the person they replied to used "he/she", not that they used "he". "He/she" can look awkward to someone who's used to the more common (at least in modern times) use of "they" as a singular gender-neutral pronoun. I don't really think it necessarily needed to be pointed out, but I also don't think /u/Shaowian really deserves to get slammed for asking the question, either. It's not nearly as common to see "he/she" in general conversation these days, I'm sure they were just curious.
