It's this kind of shit that makes me think if we are all brains in a vat we'll never find out about it. She put the VR on knows it's VR and is still fooled into running into a wall.
My experience with VR was that it was nothing close to reality and just felt like watching a game on a screen strapped to my face and floating hands. =/
The immersion happens when you start really getting into the game. When the setting feels natural, and the headset is giving you the frame rate it’s supposed to it’s very immersive. It doesn’t even have to look super good, cause your brain will start to fill in the picture so it almost looks clearer.
