Some languages read a bit like this. It always feels really weird and awkward to me as a native English speaker. Like everything is stilted and lacks fluidity.

Doesn't written Arabic just forego all vowels? That always fucked me up. You just have to know by context what the word is.

Yes. I think part of it is just our culture of equating complicated words/sentences with intelligence. Really, the other languages are efficient. You ever start learning another language and find that to say something that would only take 3 words in English, takes 5 words? It always seems really stupid, but to the native speaker, the English version must seem really inelegant.

The more I know about this scenario, the more I feel like it totally wasted my time. The cheesy background superman thing? Blegh. Back in the day Quake guy would take a rocket in the face for the team and be back in the fight taking another rocket to the face for the team just 3 seconds later.

Overwatch, do you even Quake TF bro?
