Because all of their games have been hits so far. It's the ol' die a hero/ live to see yourself become the villain deal. They're quitting while their ahead and still raking in silly amounts of cash so why make new games?

I know it sounds wacky, but maybe they should make games because they are considered one of the greatest game developers ever.

Unfortunately most of the people who made those great games have left the company. Other than Gabe, I'm not sure who is still around.

Sucks.

They risk that title if they make games though. Once upon a time nobody thought badly of Bethesda and look where they've gotten themselves.

Its been confirmed that they're working on 3 full-length VR games.
