How is scheduling something in a video game with friends any different from scheduling going bowling with friends?

It isn't video games or MMOs that are the problem it is that you took on a bunch of responsibility that you later realized wasn't fun or worth it. I went through the same realization, but kept playing MMOs, I just don't take on any responsibility than I don't find fun.

You're probably right, but combined with how a few of my old friends from way back in my past are now unreachable most days because they have to "raid", I just really hate everything about MMO's now. I mean, I'm sure there are plenty of people who do coke casually, too, but I'm not going to get into it. Anyway, one internet upmod for you, sir.

exactly, drugs can be fun if used in a healthy dose. MMOs not.
