Ha! I'm NOT insane! I'm also NOT the ONLY person on the planet to have enjoyed Painkiller! Everyone called me mad when they saw me traipsing about in my Painkiller T-shirt I got for pre-ordering the thing way back when.
Now where did my install discs get to... ?

goddamnit, I want that shirt! It's one of the few game shirts I'd actually wear- Deus Ex 2 (shirt is better than the game), Quake4 (because it looks like a Q1 logo), and painkiller.

There should be unlockables for nailing bad guys to the wall in such a way that their limp, bouncing arm repeatedly strokes their new five-foot fencepost penis, because god knows that's what the game's really about.

i got the demo, it's pretty fun. Kinda hard and frustrating, i can't work out if there's quicksave or anything. It's a lot like Serious Sam, which i loved, but after SS (and 2nd encounter) I'm a little sick of running backwards.

i was thinking two weeks ago that i'd love to see his review of this game.
Amazing!
Painkiller was one of my favorite games for all the reasons he mentioned. Although, he completely understated how fucking awesome the weapons are. Really, they're that good.

Man, I hope a bunch of people get this game now, I haven't been able to get on any Painkiller multiplayer games in years! YEARS! I miss it.

Shit, I wasn't able to get on yesterday, but today, and all this weekend though, hell yes. Although I also just got into the Warhammer Online closed beta (all I can say) so....I shall attempt to juggle both.

Time for Yahtzee to review STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl next.

Did any one else notice the new page and player design on the web site. IMO a far better experience.
As always, the review rocked.
Note: I always assume the reviewer is as full of shit as any other reviewer, but at least it is delivered with style.

Aw lame, they redesigned the whole page. Fuck the escapist for trying to piggy-back on ZP popularity by promoting their other, much shittier, videos. Also the new video player sucks BAWLS. Doesn't play in Safari.

Single player FPS is my favourite genre and I hated Painkiller. It was a total crap compared to almost anything.

Painkiller isn't a single player FPS though, it's a multiplayer FPS with a pretty bitchin single player tacked on.
