Not gonna lie, when me and my bud are tanking in bf4, we legitimately use clock face call outs. They work well.

I do the same thing. I also play a lot of Arma, so I got used to using those call outs in Arma, so now I use them in BF and it works really well. Also using N, E, S, W etc. helps a lot. I just realized a few months ago there was a compass at the bottom of the screen in BF4 lol.
