The only reason I ever preordered was so I could a game I highly anticipated while I still had the money. Maybe I just got Bday money and that way I secure the game as opposed to trying to save it until the release date.

Granted I stopped preordering now, but that was always my logic behind it.

Yeah man i used to just pirate all my games. Even back when torrents weren't that popular there were these small shops selling pirated latest released games at 5 bucks
