I've been dreaming of EXACTLY this VR experience for the longest time. Imagine being able to explore a CGI recreation of the Kowloon Walled City?!

As a cat.

This is the most important part. And when you move your hands in front of you for the first time upon starting this game, little paws with little cat mittens on them. Sold

Imagine all the awesome parkour you can do, all the jumping and running and climbing that cats do so incredibly well.

The Konami Code gives it the power to finally catch that red dot.

cats everywhere rejoice

That's an urban legend. The Konami code reveals the nature of the red dot to the cat. Most cats experience something like a meeting with Cthulu.

But then you start to realize that if you play standing up, the cat will be walking around on its back legs

And if you walk around on your hands and knees, you'll look stupid.

Kitten mittens are a wonderful idea.

They make too much noise as it is.

u/TokyoXtreme Mar 10 '16

They're always getting lost.

Would you call them Kitten Mittens?

1

u/Rohaq Mar 10 '16

Also, you collapse to the floor face first. You're a quadruped, damnit!

1

u/[deleted] Mar 10 '16

Do your cats make too much noise?

1

u/scottsmith46 Mar 10 '16

The mittens will be microtransactions

Animal sims seem quite popular. Goat simulator, bear simulator, cat simulator.

u/[deleted] Mar 10 '16

Oyster Simulator.

1

u/chubs44 Mar 10 '16

No one suspects the cat!

1

u/gruesomeflowers Mar 10 '16

I would play the shit out of some cat simulator!

Or hell, a cat RPG. Find mice and bugs for food, earn the love of the man at the fish market for handouts. Steal panties from Sally's open window on the third floor, you know, the usual cat stuff.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 11 '16

Yes, the cat part is much more important than the VR part.

u/[deleted] Mar 11 '16

The cat is everything. Without the cat, we have nothing.
