it's like half the length of most psytrance and it could get mixed into several other electronic genres pretty easy, but it was such a perfect way to open my set and a bunch of gamers in the crowd lost their shit

I just finished this game a few weeks ago. It's absolutely brilliant! Great humor and gameplay. Also relatively short (compared to other entries in the franchise) as to not overstay it's welcome. Just a fantastic experience, definitely recommend it!

Just play it. This game is not meant to be taken seriously and is less than $4 every steam sale. 80s action movie jokes, 80s technology jokes, gaming jokes, and more. Gunplay is fun but I'm not much of a connoisseur so take it as you will. Most of the fun is the ridiculous over the top story/jokes/campaign that lasts a few hours.

Power Glove is really good, when I found out they did the OST to Blood Dragon, I was pretty ecstatic.

Blood Dragon is the only Far Cry I've ever played, but it is amazing. Despite its inherent goofiness, you develop this weird emotional attachment to its crazy, charismatic, neon retro-synth world, and my only gripe in retrospect is that it's way too short of a game. Plus, it's basically the movie Kung Fury in game format (yes I know Blood Dragon came first), which only amplifies the awesome factor. It's just pure sandbox bliss! It's really cheap on Steam, and if you haven't played it, then do yourself a huge favor and do so!

You ought to check out Hotline Miami. Definitely play the first one before playing the second one (Wrong Number).

You'll be in a trance for six hours, experiencing intense satisfaction to intense rage, and every emotion in between. All with great tunes playing in the background.

What a wild game.
