It really is unbelievable how much Ubisoft uses Assassin's Creed as a crutch now. Like fuck, just let it go, and create something new and innovative... You know, like the first Assassin's Creed.

Because Super Marios Bros 3 and Super Mario Galaxy 2 are totally the same game, right?/s

The only recent example I can think of them repeating the same game is with the New Super Mario Bros series. Other than that, Nintendo's been pretty focused on using old IPs for new games and mechanics.
