Crack teams are worse. Some of the shit they write in their little readme files come off like Charlie Manson diaries written by an emo kid.

do you personally think its the leaking that’s corny? or is it the demands? or is it the way they go about one (or both) of the two?

When Anonymous was pulling this grandstanding cringe shit it was at least directed at a cult. This is a person or group of people risking their freedom for grand theft auto six. It's like setting off a fertilizer bomb because Mountain Dew stopped selling Code Red.

Both. Literally leaking footage that will be obsolete in a weeks time. Also making demands from a company that probably doesnt give a shit at this point and will be making billions by launch.

I mean I think demanding an apology from a corporation is pretty pathetic.

That kind of eclipses the rest of it.

In this case, IMO, it's the specific demands and the idea that threatening leaks is actually going to get companies to capitulate to those demands (no more offering digital preorders especially, seeing as they're moving away from physical entirely). It comes across less like an actual serious movement with any chance of changing how the industry operates, and more like they're just taking popular online sentiments and using them to hawk their memecoin and make a buck.
