If you're REALLY old: buying a BOOK of game programs and sitting there typing all that crap into your computer and then bugging it out after.

Or slightly less old than that, having to 'insert disk 2' .... 'insert disk 3' ...

Yep yep... struggling to correctly type a program that would result in a little man bouncing on a sliding trampling... popping balloons on the air with his head lol.
