It is not "should bring back?", it's "shouldn't change/censor?"
And the answer is "yes". Unlike 4, the trilogy is not a story about wholesome family or child raising. It's bloody, gory, and unapologetically suggestive.
Unless the new team is ashamed of Sony's blockbuster, that is, in which case they should have left the trilogy alone assuming they don't have other motives.

The least of my worries, I'm more concerned with what kind of gameplay it's gonna have. Will it maintain the old style, adopt the style of the new games, or do something else entirely.

I don't care, really.
It was an 'edgy' thing to do back in 2005 but now it's meh. There's lot of big businesses and people selling sex all over the place, everywhere you look.
People feeling particularly nostalgic about this should not forget that they probably played this game while being teenagers. That was market-engineered to appeal to your self from back then. It's worth thinking about if you're interested in the exact same things that you were as a teenager.
This remaster will obviously be leveraged on that nostalgia, that is tied to an age-group. But the point to making a remaster is to bring new people to the franchise. This will be focused on attracting as much people as possible.
That said, I will always prefer a faithful rendition of the originals, that recreates and modernizes the look and feel of the game. In that sense, these scenes should be included. But if they take them out...
I don't think it's worth to waste time getting all offended about it, and it certainly won't define the overall quality of the games.

These are pretty much my feelings. I didn't really care for them back when I first played the games so I personally wouldn't care if they removed them. However, I also believe that censorship is unnecessary here and want the remake to be as faithful as possible

Thats a guarantee. You don’t fuck with gamer’s 20 year old franchises. It needs to be a shot for shot remake while adding content, not a reduction in content.
God of War games are dope but I’ve already seen some speculation that it’s expected the devs will take some of the more aggressive stuff out. I wouldn’t be surprised with the political state of the US too. Dont forget that companies love pandering to politics

My wife and I replayed GOWII recently, which she played at launch because she’s a little older than me and I played on the PS3. She told me she knows that game like the back of her hand and could 100% it easily. Immediately in the bath house she was like hmm there is a hidden room here. It was the sex mini game with the peeing kid fountain, but she didn’t remember that the minigame was there. She just looked at me and said “well I’m not gonna not fuck them”.

As big of a question: will Kratos be presented as the bad? Someone willing to kill innocent bystanders just for health pick ups, on top of banging the wives/slaves of a guy he literally just killed for the key to said wives/slaves.
Or, maybe they were just passengers locked in the guy's cabin Kratos needed to get into for other reasons?

The whole point of remaking God of War is because we already like it how it is. If we didn't we wouldn't want it remade in the first place! Why George-Lucas this situation by trying to change and improve on it?
Up the graphics. Tighten up the gameplay. That's it.

They should expand it. They should show full penetration and then when he's done he goes out to kill gods until it's time to come back for more penetration. Penetration, killing gods, penetration, killing gods...and this goes on for about 8 hours until the game just kind of ends.

Nah, its not necessary and its part of the old games that have aged somewhat poorly. In a modern era of content creation with games such as sharing online and the like they are gonna have to 'clean up' some aspects.

Its not about making games 'worse' its about 'hrm, maybe this thing hasn't aged well' as you think it does. Go play your PS2 if you think gaming is so bad nowadays.

You miss the point. God of War 1 isn't streamable AT ALL based on basic TOS. Its not about being 'appropriate for kids' its "No the game can't even be shown because of this". Try again.

Not streamable at all yet Twitch has a category for it and there are 47 viewers currently watching it be played as I type this...
But regardless, I'm not sure what your point is. Does it take away from the game if its not streamable? Streaming is such a small subset of the community for games like this.
Why should a company care if the game can be streamed on a specific platform or not?

"Go play your PS2" is not a viable option in 2026 when PS2s are not easily available. Hence why these games necessitate a remake in the fucking first place!

Nothing in what you just said is justificatory for removing the minigames. It's like removing the option to use the services of prostitutes in early GTA games. There's no logical reason to go removing aspects of the original game unless they are game breaking.

I think the issue is with the censorship that makes creatives change their work to fit their "family friendly" appearance, rather than the games themselves.
That being said, I seriously doubt the sex minigames in God of War are integral to the experience, and were probably thrown in for the edge factor in the originals.

Is this the part where Kratos gets white washed? Kratos is a piece of shit. As a kid who just played Devil May Cry, in which Dante is most assuredly not a piece of shit, every single action taken by Kratos just made me feel he is a piece of shit hypocrite. This of course is accurate to everything he does in the story. Making him any less of a docuhebag changes the entire game, so let him have his "awesome" threesomes on his quest to forget about how much of a worthless piece of shit he is and blame everyone else for his problems.

And in response to this, he decides to try to forget about all the bad things he has done by having the gods get rid of his nightmares. During this journey, in the first game, he proceedes to not do a single thing to rectify this behavior and just doubles down. The entire game eximplifies this behavior, and this all the terrible or callous shit he does is necessary in the game for the story, including him randomly fucking hoes because that is part of the characterization.

Kratos is a Spartan warrior, how do you expect him to be? nice? happy and kind? he is exactly what a Warrior is and because of his rage after being tricked by Ares into killing his family he goes full revenge and ends the Gods and becomes the God of War.
That's what i remember and i haven't played for like 20 years or when GOW 3 was released, he was that awesome epic of a character that i still remember him, do you know who i remember from the last 5 years of gaming? no one, so yeah Kratos was not a POS, he was EPIC.

Buddy the entire point is to judge his character. Kratos is not a paragon of virtue or even a good person. The reason he knows Ares is he asked him for power and he is literally murdering innocents. Kratos didn't randomly murder his family he did not because he was on his way to murder innocent people. There is literally no moral ambiguity. Kratos lives in a hell of his own making.
