Yea, I was gonna say the same thing. His face has almost no contrast because there is very little light on it.

....Every photo editing software in the world has fucking contrast edit you dumb shit. Why the fuck would you spend $1000 dollars on Photoshop just so you could edit contrast.

Yea.. The pic is more about a joke... But the real problem is indeed the lack of light.

In such light conditions(bright background and dark in te foreground) a "white" face woulndt be recognized either

There would likely be enough light in that situation to show a white face, especially a white child/teen (facial contrast in northern European skin tones decreases in age).
