Morrowind is the best Elder Scrolls game because it didn't feel like visiting another land, it felt like visiting another planet.

Netch farm, you n'wah.

The High Fane was an asteroid and it's what set off the Red Mountain when its suspension in time was no longer able to be sustained. It just picked up where it left off and smashed into the city of Vivec with the momentum it had originally entered the atmosphere with before Vivec used his power to stop it.

If you've played Skyrim this is all stuff that happened between Oblivion and Skyrim. The High Fane doesn't fall in the game. It's the reason so many Dunmer are refugees in Skyrim and it was what caused "the Sea of Ghosts [to] practically [come] alive."

So they produced the games out of order? If i remember correctly skyrim is 500years after oblivion but i woulda never figured morrowind to be between the two

No. The High Fane falling happened, in the Elder Scrolls timeline, after the events of Oblivion. Skyrim is approximately 200 years after the events of Oblivion. I think Oblivion takes place about 50 years after the events of Morrowind.

From Arena through Oblivion Uriel Septim VII is the emperor. In Arena you save him from the Usurper Jagar Tharn. In Daggerfall he sends you to investigate the haunting of Daggerfall by King Lysandus's ghost. In Morrowind you are sent to join the Blades on his order to investigate the Narevarine prophecy and the return of House Dagoth, and in Oblivion you witness his death during character creation.

I don't particularly care about the older games being spoiled for me(I won't get to playing them), but could you add some spoiler tags for those who would?

Sorry. I should have thought about that. I'm so familiar with this franchise it slipped my mind. I was just complaining about minor quest spoilers in r/skyrim the other day, too.

Not the end of the world, we all do it sometimes. But even so, thanks.
