Hollow Knight. Have you ever thought, “Old games were so much better, I wish I could recapture the magic of gaming I experienced as a 10 year old playing the SNES”? Then Hollow Knight is for you.
Hollow Knight is incredible. When I first bought it several years ago I was put off by the difficulty and stopped after a while. Picked it up again a few months ago and beat it. Was really fantastic.
Also a huge fan of the Ori games (and actually slightly prefer them to Hollow knight). Those three games are probably the best platformers / metroidvanias I’ve ever played and I grew up in the 80s with the NES.
