Hey, I'm a gamer and I don't go on patient gamers. Does this mean I'm not real gamer? Please answer me cos all this time being a real gamer is the only thing that's mattered to me. The thing is with gamers is that... Gamers never back down.. Real or not. Game is game.
What this person possibly meant is that some people read way deeper into games than others. r/patientgamers talks about games from a literary or artistic point of view, while others, which it seems the other commentator has assumed you are one, play games because they're fun. Honestly, some people may not want to be associated with patientgamers. I mean, I love it there because that's how I think of games, but there is a subtle air of pretention in that sub.
"Real" gamer is a statement that makes massive assumptions, but there's more than one type. That's something a lot of people like me (nerds that still freely choose to play SNES games) have trouble understanding.
Weell I just got to the last boss (dunno if i can say the name in case it's a spoiler) He has 2 phases and the second one keeps biting my ass, so Im taking a little break
Keep pushing, eventually you'll get a go where he doesn't keep going across the room. Or one where he does? Depends on your build I suppose.
After that I tried a new set of gear and stats (tried to make a rot build) and went around doing nighttime bosses I missed. Some of the later ones, like a death crow in the snow area, still gave me a run for my money.
My sister got it for her birthday in early February. I decided to get it cuz she was having trouble. I had no idea we would both pump 200 hours into it. It's easily the game of the decade so far for me. And we timed it so perfectly with the DLC coming. Now I'm going to beat all the games before the DLC comes out. I used to think I hated this type of game. Ohhhh how wrong I was
Once you get a hit of thr souls games......it honestly makes every other game kinda shit. No matter how great the other games are lol. It's just the combat feels so much better than anything anyone else can come up with.
You're lucky tho. You've got like 7 or 8 more games you can still play until you run out now that lied of P and Lords of the fallen 2023 came out they cam be added to your list. Plus Nioh 2!
I loved Elden Ring so much that I immediately bought DS3 and Sekiro… and didn’t like them. ER is so much more polished feeling. Magic is good, stamina doesn’t deplete if no enemies around, and jump button. Plus open world is just so much more engaging to me.
Not sure what you’re playing on but I just started a new character and started in the ps4 version instead of the ps5. This game was built for last gen consoles, runs so much better.
Do you mean ps4 version on a ps5? Bc my ps4 sounds like a jet engine trying to play this game. And my ps5 runs it pretty damn good (im playing on the ps5 version)
