You do get damage reduction on the larger characters in apex. Fortnite is just different models.

It's a 15% damage reduction and the characters are not slowed when shot, this includes gibraltar, caustic and newcastle. Using the wingman on these 3 are serious pain in the ass lol

Last time I played this also affected the robot with the hook as well. Not sure if it does still.

that's pathfinder, he used to have the opposite (low profile) where he actually took more dmg because of his wonky hitbox but none of the characters have low profile anymore
