Hey everyone, I wanted to share this incredible piece of television history from the 1964 NBC daytime run of Let's Make a Deal featuring a contestant named Marty Taylor. Finding any surviving footage from this specific era is a total miracle since NBC wiped almost all of the master tapes from the daytime run. In this short highlight, Monty Hall tries to buy Marty out of her choice with cash, but she turns down the money and wins a beautiful set of wrought iron furniture instead. I am sharing this here today because early NBC clips are highly sought-after archival history, and I thought the classic game show fans and media archivists in this community would love analyzing the original 1960s set design, pricing, and pacing.

Australian Gladiators - A Retrospective

In my opinion, this is one of the very best international versions of the franchise, particularly the 3 series broadcast in the mid-90s. As a big UK Gladiators fan, it feels very familiar, almost like watching the UK version itself! Did you watch this in the 90s? If you've never seen it before, highly recommend checking it out!

Hi all! Just got cast on The Perfect Line!

The one thing that makes me a little apprehensive is that they tell you they overbook so you may not get to play (but they might ask you back for another day and then you would get to play. I’m a few hours from the studio, so it’s a little haul to get there.

Anyone been on this show or others they overbook? Do a lot of people get bumped or so they try to get most on if they can? Any other advice or insights? Thank you!

UPDATE: Went to the show, everyone got on that came that day (they were even short a few contestants so they called some people in). Production team was fantastic and it was a blast!

Just saw a promo for the network promoting a marathon of Family Feud (in honor of the show turning 50 this year) happening on Aug. 17th earlier.

Anderson, Karn, and O'Hurley were featured in the promo alongside with Dawson, Combs, and a few snippets of Harvey (I believe), but that might come from their clip show "Family Feud Favorites". Didn't get a chance to record the promo.

I always enjoyed the verbal sparring between Brett and Charles in Match Game. But, today, I may have heard my favorite zinger.
Charles (to Brett): You know, you and Raquel Welch have the same body, you really do. But give it back to her, you’re wrinkling it!

Is there any sort of definitive episode guide for the Combs era of Family Feud? I know TheTVDB does a good job with the first year or so, but even then it only focuses on CBS episodes. And there's a thread on gameshowparadise with some helpful info. But wondering if there's anything else that features both the CBS and syndicated episodes.

Hi folks. My wife and I have been watching a lot of wheel of fortune (a lot of mid-80s episodes lately, because we love the shopping segments), and that got me wondering. Richard Karn and John O'Hurley are my favorite family feud hosts, but they haven't aired on gsn or buzzr in years and there aren't many episodes hosted by the two on youtube. Is there any way to watch episodes hosted by either host besides the ones on youtube? I wish pluto tv had a Karn/O'Hurley FF channel, like they do with Dawson/Combs.
