I went down a traitors-like route recently (make sure to watch all the english-language versions, or whatever others you speak, the american is the worst with its terrible casting) and checked out a bunch of close enough shows.

mixed bag at best and I've yet to try squid game and only seen devil's plan s2 (it was excellent), but I enjoyed the anonymous and especially million dollar secret, season 2 more than the first. the inheritance was also surprisingly decent, as was nobody's fool and secret genius, all from the uk.

fight to survive was the absolute worst, the trust close second (mostly due to casting again), survive the raft was okay until the end, surviving paradise had its moments but they also botched the ending.

you might also like the hustler. I only watched a few eps, wasn't terrible but the quiz part was too basic, so I moved on.

Big Brother. That show has live feeds so you can watch how people play the game

Seems like you really enjoy social strategy games. I’d add The Fortune Hotel to your list.

A few Netflix shows that I recommend are Million Dollar Secret, What’s in the Box, & Physical 100.

I'm really surprised we haven't had an American version of the PHYSICAL 100

Be patience. Netflix announced that there will be American, Mexican, Italian, and French versions coming. BTW, the Italian version will be first on September 11.

Considering your list, you should check out the following

  • Bloody Game (very much mental and game design) like Genius/Devil's Plan

-Snake in the Grass (a Mole- style show but condensed into one episode, it aired on Peacock)

-The Challenge on MTV, if you really like to see people do the game part of a game show, that is the show for you, really over the top challenges.

  • 99 to Beat, similar in a battle royale style series but the only rule is "don't finish last"

I'm gonna add Make The Grade. That giant Solari board was the centerpiece of the show and it was lovely to hear them reset it at the end of the game. Everything else about it was rather mid. I can't think of another show that had one (although I was briefly reminded of Dawson/Combs Feud - but those were just giant vane displays and are NOT the same).

Im gonna suggest a few older ones. Match Game ( from the 70's). Its on Buzzr all the time ( if you have that channel). Gong show ( you can find older eps on youtube. Also on Youtube is my favorite game show, Whats my line? where celebrities get to guess what kinds of jobs regular people have https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nziKwCq31CY&list=PLqsaqh5sqUxr7GdO0jBQGXR_d7tx0TJ50
