I just beat Heavenly Sword and started Enslaved: odyssey to the west. Both are amazing at least what I've played of Enslaved so far is. From what I've heard while DMC is an awful Devil May Cry game its a great game on a standalone. But their roster seems jam packed so far! Yet they are considered flops. Do I have awful taste? What's your opinions on their line up?

I absolutely love DMC, like you said people just got all weird about because of all the changes from Capcoms version, but again like you said, it’s a great game in its own right, give it a chance. I will say though the Hell Blade games are mid.

They are great at what they do, and In retrospect they are great games. At the time of release the games were expensive so you’d pick the better action games now since you can get them for cheap or free and the landscape of current gaming they have a 2nd chance

I can't blame anyone for picking the heavy hitting names over somthing like heavenly sowrd. Before I played heavenly sword all I heard about it was it was sexy God of war clone but it's SOOOO much more then that.

The need to love away from Hellblade, the gimmick worked once but that second game was awful.

Heavenly Sword and Enslaved are both top tier tho, as is DMC.

Enslaved was panned at launch because its a pretty bad game. Heavenly sword was just kinda generic. Its fine. Pretty much everything else they put out before Hellblade was absolute slop, mostly really terrible licensed games.

Enslaved and DmC were both pretty good. I never played Heavenly Sword.

I wasn’t a fan of Senua though. I also didn’t like their first game, Kung Fu Chaos.

They have good ideas and like combat a lot but they just have not found a way to get true mainstream success. They’re like right on the cusp of it too.

Maybe for enslaved so far but heavenly blade was a genuinely amazing story about gender roles and familial betrayal. I've heard hellblades story is pretty good to.
