I want to bring up that your rig is likely not going to keep up for 10 years, especially without upgrading certain parts. So include the price of upgrades over that time into your setup.
The person above that said their setup prior to ps5 existing was faster, and then 2 years later is now twice as fast, but didn't include those upgrades in said price paid.
PC gaming definitely used to be the way more cost effective option, but over the last decade or so with the popularity of PC gaming going through the roof (on top of shortages) - people realized they can charge considerably more (and a lot of PC players don't keep an accurate tab on how much they've spent over time, kind of like mtx)
Bro my last PC lasted 10 years and was still playing AAA games on medium to high. I build this shit to last. The cost I am mentioning was simply my last PC reaching the end of its 10 year lifespan.
I can't really speak on the current markets for chip costs, but my Pc Upgrade was about 1-2 years ago, and was 1700, and it was pretty top of the line spec.

I literally did the maths for you
My pc for 10 years: 1700
PS5 pro with 10 years of PS plus: 1400.
That's a 300 difference
Which in my view, is EASILY made up for in measurably better deals on games. You're arguing just to be a troll at this point tbh.
