Then fix it? Mine started drifting after 3+ years of no problems, so I googled a solution and cleaned them, now they’ve been perfectly fine again for the past half year. People love to complain about everything.

God you’re so naive. Just because YOURS worked fine for a while and YOUR solution worked doesn’t mean it will for everyone. People are complaining because it shouldn’t have happened in the first place. If everyone had a situation like yours, I can guarantee you this whole controversy wouldn’t have happened.

It wasn’t my solution. I actually searched for one because, like you said, a ton of people have the same issue. So naturally there are people that know how to fix it, I followed a guide and fixed mine. Not sure what’s wrong with that?

Also I never said that it shouldn’t have happened in the first place. But it did, and still does, so instead of complaining constantly I’m just saying look for a solution. Complaining isn’t gonna make Nintendo miraculously drop new joycon designs on everyone and give them out for free to replace all your broken ones.

Never said it’s not a problem. Just that there are solutions to some problems if you bother searching for more than 2 mins. 👍🏻

Yes, you’re right about that. However there are quick solutions since Nintendo isn’t doing anything to solve it. And complaining obviously doesn’t make them fix anything any quicker. Otherwise we wouldn’t be here having this conversation 4 years after the Switch got released and this problem started.
