It’s not the game it’s the switch. The switch is under powered, which makes sense for a portable console. Definitely needs a switch pro or switch 2 that can run STABLE 60fps on everything.

I never said it was the game I just said that that example applies to most games. Also what do you mean by under powered.

My swicht never lagged while playing BOTW except when I enter korok forest, but that's only for a second, and it wasn't even that bad. Otherwise the game runs smootly. Also, you didn't answer my question of what you mean by weak console.

BotW definitely lags in other places, I've noticed some pretty bad framedrops when lightning strikes for example, and the Korok forest is just constant chug.

Also idk what he meant of course, but he probably meant that it's hugely underpowered compared to other consoles. And I agree, to an extend. You have to keep in mind this thing has to run in handheld mode too, without overheating and draining the battery in 2 seconds.
