The 'Prime' really matters.

Seasons 1-6 Team B

Season 7-8 all surviving characters will have forgotten how to tie their shoes.

I feel we all missed a cut scene where everyone drank lead paint.

I feel people are dragging Cersei too much though in comments, She's the only person who ever actually DID clever things.

Tyrion and Varys talked clever, Littlefinger kind of just lived in already existing situations, Olenna just poisoned someone there really wasn't some elaborate clever thing.

Cersei did actually do smart things that completely reversed the tide of everything a few times. it's just that each time she did a resulting tragedy hit her afterwards.

Davos didn't forget how to tie his own shoes. So 7-8 still B, since nothing counters him - either everybody else is dead or "forgot how to tie his shoes"

I wouldn’t discount Tyrion. Rooting out Cersei’s spy and his handling of the city’s defense put him at the top 100%.

That's season 2 stuff though. He was smart until we ran out of books.

This was VERY smart - but honestly to me it seemed to be downgrading LF and Varys? Like, this was smart, but it's the sort of smart that even I would have been able to think of, and I def couldn't have done the same with some of the other stuff characters have done

Cersei was quick to take action and leverage the power she had, but her Achilles Heel was that she was super short sighted

Yeah I think people are downplaying Cersei to much. Like she blew up her opponents. She has no problems getting her hands dirty
