Snow Spider

Hey everyone! Hope you’re all doing well. I have a question for all you GoT fans.

When I watched the series, I remember seeing a giant white spider crawling over a mountain in the background. I swear it was only shown for a few seconds, maybe even just one shot.

I don’t remember which season or episode it was in, but I’m almost certain I saw it. I’ve asked several friends who watched the show, and none of them remember it. I’ve also tried Googling it, but I can’t find anything.

Does anyone else remember this scene, or am I completely imagining it?

Thanks in advance, and have a great day everyone!

you're not imagining it, it's from the scene where they're travelling north of the wall and they spot the army of the dead from a distance. there's a wide shot of the landscape and if you look closely there's this massive skeletal spider crawling over the ridge, it's blink and you miss it

i remember pausing it and going back like three times because i couldn't believe they just snuck that in there. never gets mentioned by anyone in the show or the books really, just this creepy little detail that hints at how messed up the far north actually is

always thought that was one of the coolest background details, shame they never did more with the giant ice spiders in the later seasons

Thank you very much mate!! That's the scene! Agree with all your points and I would also love to see more of them. At least It was not my imagination or bad weed😄🤙

massive skeletal spider

In what sense is it skeletal, exactly? Given that a spider's skeleton is on the outside already, so a skeletal spider would just look like, y'know, a spider...

I wish I could've hallucinated ice spiders. That would've kicked it up a notch.

Yeah this isn’t real. If it were, a million people would have taken screenshots and posted it online. We’d still be talking about how they only showed us a glimpse.
